Grin may refer to multiple artists.
1) An early 70s American rock band best-known for featuring Nils Lofgren on guitar;
2) An independent alternative rock band based in Chicago, now known as Quasar Wut-Wut. 1) Grin was an early 70s rock group based in the Washington D.C metro area whose debut release came out in 1971 on the CBS/Spindizzy Label. The group featured a 19-year-old prodigal alumni of Walter Johnson High School in Bethesda, MD, that being Nils Lofgren on guitar.

The band made it through to the European finals of one of the biggest bandcontests in de world. Leadsinger Aran Jeurissen nowadays performs solo as Songs Of Aran. 2. Derek Meins is a Scottish singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist (predominantly guitar and piano) and poet. He first earnt recognition as lead vocalist and guitarist with Berwick-upon-Tweed based indie band Eastern Lane, who released two albums before disbanding in 2006. Meins' studio recordings and live performances comprise of both light-hearted ramshackle folk pop and poetic monologues, both characterised by his distinctive, often over-the-top and theatrical delivery.
