Siouxsie

Susan Janet Ballion, professionally known as Siouxsie Sioux, is a British singer and lyricist born in London on May 27, 1957. Before she started her solo career in 2004, Siouxsie was the lead singer of the influential band Siouxsie and the Banshees and its splinter group The Creatures. She has also collaborated with Morrissey and John Cale. In the last 15 years, Siouxsie's songs have been covered by LCD Soundsystem ("Slowdive"), Massive Attack ("Metal Postcard" sampled on "Superpredators"), Jeff Buckley ("Killing Time"), Tricky ("Tattoo") and DeVotchKa ("The Last Beat Of My Heart").

Allez Allez

There are two artiste with name Allez Allez: 1.On the verge of an international breakthrough Belgian funky new wave band Marine lost their singer Marc Marine in London.
Quickly replaced by Sarah Osborne from Repetition they did their planned Peel session and changed their name to Allez Allez.
After the relase of Promises, Sarah left the band for a marriage with Heaven 17 singer Glenn Gregory.
She was replaced by Afro-American Jackie Irwin of New York, but this didn't work out. Bass player Marka found fame as a singer in the French speaking part of the world.

Lisa Gerrard

Lisa Gerrard (born April 12, 1961) is an Irish-Australian musician, singer and composer who gained international renown as part of the music group Dead Can Dance together with Brendan Perry. Her career spans from 1981 to the present, and she has been involved in a wide range of projects. Gerrard received a Golden Globe award and her score for the 2000 film Gladiator received an Academy Award nomination. She both sings and is instrumentalist for much of her work, most prolifically using the (a Chinese hammered dulcimer).

The Triffids

The band originated in Perth, Western Australia in the late 1970s. They went through various line-up changes until the early 1980s when they moved to Sydney and later Melbourne and released their first LP Treeless Plain. The band toured extensively in Europe and caught the attention of the UK music press, being featured on the cover of NME twice. Four albums followed - Born Sandy Devotional, In the Pines, Calenture and The Black Swan - before the group disbanded in 1989. David McComb and "Evil" Graham Lee joined The Blackeyed Susans while Martyn P Casey joined Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.

City Calm Down

City Calm Down is a live electronic four piece from Melbourne, Australia. With varying degrees of influence stemming from post-punk, disco, jazz, and techno they're making an interesting brand of electronic dance pop. Their live show involves extensive use of samplers, synthesizers, sequencers and drum modules as well as the use of more traditional instruments such as bass guitar, saxophone, voice and kit.
