UK Grime

Wariko is an MC hailing from Nottingham and is often regarded as probably the best grime MC outside of london. On meeting Wariko for the Mic Fight contract signing we were immediately impressed by his powerful presence, talent and conviction - something we're certain will show through on the Mic Fight night and prove that the grime scene is alive and kicking outside of London!

Ears are Slovak musicians with passion for bright cyborgs. The music is at the edge of electro-alternative and electro-pop. The band was founded in 1993 by Filip Orator and Silverman. It has distinguished lyrics, electronic sounds and distinctive Orator's vocal. They wrote 3 albums so far. Debut called pEARSing was released in 2001 by Sony Music.

Durrty Goodz, formerly known as Doogz (real name Dwayne Mahorn), is a grime MC from Stratford, East London. He is known for his great versatility, which can be seen in his ability to jump on Grime, Hip-Hop, Bashment, and RnB tracks, although grime is the genre many of his fans favour him spitting over. His witty lines and great flow have won him many new fans over the years, and he is one of the best emcees to grace the scene.

Guvnor is a Grime Artist from North London. He grew up in the streets of Tottenham North London, and started MC'ing at the age of 13. He used to take visits with fellow North London MC's Solo 45 and Cell 22 to pirate radio stations such as Heat FM. He further showcased his talents on a number of talent shows, around the same time. In September 2008 he released the first of his four mixtapes entitled 'the 1st Impression'.
