Jim Black has been playing drums for twenty-eight years. Born in 1967, he grew up in Seattle, WA, playing music ranging from garage rock to big band swing. In 1985 he went to Boston, MA to attend the Berklee College of Music. During this time he recorded numerous albums, performed in Europe and taught summer classes at Berklee. In 1991 he moved to Brooklyn, NY, and has since become one of the most in demand drummers in the jazz/new music scene today.

Chloe Swaby is a singer/songwriter currently based in Cardiff, Wales. Her debut single, Racing Car, is available on itunes and is taken from her forthcoming album which is due for release in 2011. Chloe harnesses a distinct and unique style, one that blends american country and british folk with accessible pop music to create an incredibly catchy sound along with thought provoking lyrics. Her distinct sound is energised with a powerful and flawless voice, and her ability to transform her vocals to create exciting choruses juxtaposed with at times introspective and observational lyrics.

Ches Smith is an American musician whose primary instruments are drums, percussion, and vibraphone. He writes and performs music in a wide variety of contexts, including solo percussion, experimental rock bands, and small and large jazz ensembles. He has performed with Good For Cows, Marc Ribot, Secret Chiefs 3, Xiu Xiu, Trevor Dunn's Trio-Convulsant, Carla Bozulich, Beat Circus, Ben Goldberg, 7 Year Rabbit Cycle, Ara Anderson and Fred Frith. He has also recorded and performed a full-length album of his own solo percussion pieces entitled Congs For Brums (2006).
