Inter Arma

Inter Arma formed in 2007 in Richmond, VA. Playing many basements around the area and writing many songs, they released their debut, Sundown, in May 2010 via Forcefield Records. Breakneck Static

Breakneck Static formed in 2004 from the ashes of Southend indie rock band, Calico, when guitarist Adrian Lane met singer Machiko Kimura, who had recently moved to London from Tokyo. Influenced by the Japanese noise scene (bands such as Zeni Geva, Yona Kit, Melt Banana), the original line-up was completed by Adrian's sister Debbie Lane on drums, Matt Elmes on bass and James Beighton on guitar. With the departure of James Beighton in 2005 and Machiko Kimura in 2007, the current line-up now includes Bryan Styles on guitar, alto sax and trumpet, and Rei Sugawara on vocals.

Anna Murphy

The Swiss singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Anna Murphy is mainly known as the hurdy-gurdist of the metal band Eluveitie, as well as a multitude of side projects.
Throughout late 2011 and 2012 she has been working on her first solo effort, where she finds her own sound in an eclectic fusion of indie, rock and pop music. Two demo tracks have been released online for public listening and an album will follow in 2013.

The Mars Volta

The Mars Volta is a Grammy Award-winning American musical group founded in 2001 by Cedric Bixler Zavala and Omar A. Rodriguez-Lopez. They are generally considered progressive rock with jazz and punk influences and are known for wild live shows, extensive jams, cryptic lyrics, various experimentation and use of ambient music to help establish mood. Members of the band At the Drive-In, Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, were in De Facto with audio technician Jeremy Michael Ward.

Diode

There are two groups using the name Diode on last.fm, a drum and bass outfit and this one:
Diode formed in 2001 in Perth. The group has previously released several independent recordings including "Messages" (2001). Their album “Diode” (2007) builds on these outings adding a tighter, more developed sound. Diode has played at the Tote bar in Melbourne as part of “Octopus 7, Don’t Show Me Your Poetry” and was feature in “Old Skool” at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Art.
