already been compared to bands such as The Smiths and The Police and don’t we know that’s a tall order? Damn right!.....but that won’t stop us trying...with catchy tunes, grooves and licks that raise the hairs on your neck you best bring a scarf... because you’re gonna shiver.

Torrents

Torrents have an emerging reputation as the North West's most exciting young band following a succession of assaults on venues all across the UK. The band have been awarded the accolade of Unsigned Band of the Week by Steve Lamacq of Radio One and have received the support of 2-tone ska legend Pauline Black who later recorded with the band. The boys have also been offered clothing endorsements with iconic mod brands Fred Perry and Merc.

A German Gothic Rock band active in the mid 90s. The Cure seems to have been one of their big influences, especially in vocals. They released two albums. Drifting In Visions in 1994 and Sue in 1995.

CONICS are an explosive young five-piece post-punk band from Sydney, Australia that formed in mid-2010. Their music is rhythmically driven, incorporating bright, high-pitched guitars, soaring synth lines and harmonious vocal melodies. CONICS' influences range from a host of British new-wave and post-punk acts such as The Cure and Joy Division, to an array of contemporary indie artists including Foals and Klaxons. Feeding Fingers

Feeding Fingers is a trio fronted by artist, musician, author and animator, Justin Curfman. The band was founded in 2006 in Atlanta, Georgia, but has since relocated to Germany. Formation (2006) Justin Curfman, an award-winning animator/filmmaker from Atlanta, Georgia. He had written and produced pieces of music that never found a place in any of his films. With support from guitar/bass player, Todd Caras and percussionist, Danny Hunt, Justin Curfman formed a band to rearrange the pieces as songs and play them live.

A-lix is a He and a She with a drum machine and 2 guitars bursting with electro power and pop-punk energy.. “Multi-national boy/girl duo A-lix have a very ‘now’ sound, as the two guitars and a laptop formula is fast becoming the next big thing. They are full of energy, jumping around on stage, and vocalist Vincent takes himself into the front rows of the audience [...] Their sound is like a mixture of Bis, Art Brut and the Presets, an electro feel with decent, raw guitars and slightly Franz Ferdinand-ish vocal stylings.

Lockjaw

There is more than one Lockjaw: 1) Lockjaw was formed in Portland, Oregon around 1980 by Del Murry (guitar), Tony Arcudi (vocals), Eric Couch (bass), and Rob Parker (drums)... the band played clubs like The Met, 13th Precinct, and the Satyricon in the early days. By 1984 drummer Rob Parker was replaced with Jeremy J., and guitarist Garrett Garitano was added to the lineup. By that time Lockjaw was labeled "Portland's most hated band."
