Chris is a self taught musician. He learned to play guitar and piano with one purpose in mind. His total passion is writing songs, followed closely by a love of playing live. Based in London he has been the main singer and song writer of two British bands. Chris’s music has a literate quality within its sub text and has recently been compared to auteur’s such as Harry Nilsson and Jim Webb.

Captain are an English band from London, UK, who formed in early 2005. They perform a range of alternative pop songs, getting their musical influences from groups such as the Smashing Pumpkins, The Beach Boys, My Bloody Valentine and The Cure. The band was signed to EMI achieving minor chart success in 2006 with their singles Broke and Glorious, which reached numbers 34 and 30, respectively on the UK Top 40. Their début album, This Is "Hazelville," reached number 23 on the UK Albums Chart.
1. Travis is a Scottish indie/britpop band founded in Glasgow in 1990, composed of Fran Healy (vocals, guitar), Dougie Payne (bass, vocals), Andy Dunlop (guitar, piano) and Neil Primrose (drums). They have had a number of very successful albums to date: Good Feeling (1997), The Man Who (1999), The Invisible Band (2001), 12 Memories (2003), The Boy With No Name (2007), as well as a compilation album titled Singles (2004). Mackley Drive are a five piece band from Essex. Their sound comes from a fusion of their influences. It's a sound that is both eclectic, and accessible. Known also to experiment with odd time signatures and complex chord structures, and with songs stuffed to the brim with pop hooks and melodies. Their lyrics deal with subjects such as isolation, religion, love, loss etc. These attributes combined helps to form a sound that is distinctly unique to them.
