Negative Approach
Negative Approach is an American hardcore punk band. They are considered one of the pioneers of hardcore punk, along with bands like Minor Threat, Bad Brains and Black Flag. Formed in Detroit, Michigan, Negative Approach existed from 1981-1984, and now again from 2006-present. Like most hardcore bands, they were little known in their day outside of their hometown. Flowers
There is more than one group under the name “Flowers”. 1. Flowers was the first name of Australian band Icehouse. In the years 1977-1980 they built a strong reputation in the Sydney pub circuit as a more intelligent, New Wave style band - at some contrast to the two guitars, drum and bass style that was otherwise popular at the time. Their popularity, but difficulty in finding an attractive recording deal, led them to be known as the most the popular band in Sydney without a record. This was finally resolved in 1980 with the release of their debut album.

Broken Spindles
Broken Spindles is the brainchild of Joel Petersen of Omaha, Nebraska. He is in other Saddle Creek bands, playing bass guitar in The Faint and Beep Beep. The music is mostly instrumental with minimal vocals which Petersen sings. It originally started in 2001 as the soundtrack for a friend's film. It developed into a solo project with the first release in 2002 on Tiger Style Records. In between touring with The Faint and Beep Beep, Petersen found time to write music for Broken Spindles.
