emaline delapaix

Emaline Delapaix is an Aussie singer songwriter who lives in a cabin on an island in Canada surrounded by mountains and a giant lake with her big orange cat Reece. She spends a lot of time writing odd folk pop for piano, acoustic guitar and harp, and sometimes whatever else she has lying about the place. Some say she sounds a little like Kate Bush or Tori Amos, but she also loves a lot of Scandinavian music: music that invokes the weather like storms and warm sunsets. These days she is writing quieter songs, prefering her music to sneak up on the listener.

Pam Shaffer

Armed with a delicious blend of delicate piano lines and biting lyrics, Pam Shaffer’s new album “It Is Happening Again” is packed with sweeping emotion and evocative stories. Pam is a singer of lullabies sprung from a sunken pirate ship, a pixie with a haunting voice, nimble fingers, and a killer shoe collection. A rare LA native, she has always had a taste for the eccentricities of life, sporting her great aunt’s costume jewelry to school as a child while delighting in a musical backdrop of Chopin, folk tunes and the requisite pop of the 80’s.
