Hold Steady

This is an incorrect tag for The Hold Steady, please check your tags. The Hold Steady are a Brooklyn-based musical group, although the members are from Minneapolis; something that is frequently reflected in the group's lyrics. Frontman Craig Finn was previously vocalist for Twin Cities band Lifter Puller. Their first album Almost Killed Me (2004) was a sleeper hit among music critics, later appearing at #31 in the influential Pazz & Jop listing in New York, New York's Village Voice. Some months later in May 2005, they were the first rock group to grace the Voice's front page in 15 years.

Body Language

Busy saving the city from the brick wall arm crossing and the casual head nods, Brooklyn's own Body Language has risen from the DIY venue basements armed with the kinetic dynamite you would expect from the name. Their original music was born from weekly dance party remixes crafted by Grant Wheeler and Matt Young, and graced by the soul stylings of Ms. Angelica Bess. Their efforts, which illustrated their arrival into Brooklyn, were delivered in a five track EP called “Speaks".

Artist Type:

Wildlife

There are several bands, albums, & songs containing the name "Wildlife". Wildlife are five friends from around Ontario who got together to make some music in 2006 and have kinda been doing that ever since. Their goal is to make really fun songs with lots of pop pop pop. But they're more than that. They stand apart from so many of Toronto's bands because their music is loud yet so heart-felt, distinct for its punk-tinged ferocity and truly unique melodies.
