Charlie And The Bhoys

Charlie and The Bhoys are an Irish band, based in Glasgow, Scotland. The band traces its roots some 19 years ago, when they played their first concert at the Squirrel Bar near the Gallowgate, Glasgow in 1989. They band brand themselves as the "Number 1 Celtic Band in the World" and have enjoyed a reasonable degree of success in this role, having played to audiences across the world including Glasgow, New York, Dubai and other cities in North America, Australia, Europe and all across the UK and Ireland.

Ann Beretta

Ann Beretta is a punk band from Richmond, Virginia. Formed in 1996 by Rob Huddleston, Leer, Chris and Russ (Leer and Chris later left) after the break up of Inquisition. Leer went on to form the band Sixer. This band plays straightforward punk with small doses of rockabilly and country mixed into their sound.
Donovan Greer replaced Matt Bedford who replaced Leer and Chris as bass player and back up vocals

Michael Franti (born April 21, 1966, in Oakland, California) is an African, Irish, and German American poet, musician, and composer. Franti is the creator and driving force behind Michael Franti & Spearhead, a band that blends hip hop with a variety of other styles including funk, reggae, folk, and rock. Franti was part of the industrial punk band The Beatnigs with DJ Rono Tse, which released a self-titled LP, and an EP Television on Jello Biafra's Alternative Tentacles Records.

They released their first recording, "Swan Lake", on . The Solesides Crew consisted of the duo, as well as other friends of theirs they had met at University of California - Davis, including DJ Shadow, Lyrics Born and Lateef The Truth Speaker. The single was an underground hit, but label trouble prevented the duo from immediately capitalizing on their fame.

John Sinclair
