Lux Harmonium

Like the unearthing of an Alan Lomax recording or a gem from some back-room of Cecil Sharpe house; Luke Jones' Lux Harmonium is doubtless to be cited next to modern day guitar virtuosos' James Blackshaw, Glenn Jones or the late Jack Rose. Details are few (seemingly intentionally) but this double A-Side is handpicked from an album of recordings by the Devon based Luke Jones. Treading somewhere between the delta folk world of John Fahey or Leo Kottke and an altogether more outsider pop of Robert Wyatt; Lux Harmonium manage to take a menagerie of influences and make them sound altogether.

Sally Seltmann

Sally Seltmann is an award-winning songwriter and singer based in Melbourne, Australia. She has previously released albums and performed under the name 'New Buffalo', and is well known as the co-writer of the song '1234', performed by Feist. Sally now returns with Harmony to My Heartbeat, the first single from her new album, due for release in early 2010. Previous recordings by Sally as New Buffalo include her debut EP 'About Last Night', which was released in Australia (through Modular) and the UK (through Heavenly).

Steve Thompson

Steve Thompson is an independent singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist currently based in western Pennsylvania. In late 2004, he released his debut - The Enigmatic Standard (EP). Thompson has since released three full albums - Allusions To A God, Score, and NoVA. Each release by Thompson has showcased a different sound in the music ranging from folk rock to electronica. His live band features Stephen Peck (ex-Zao) on drums, Dave Trinh (ex-States of Melba) on saxophone, and Tony Regola on bass.

Donna Summer

Donna Summer (born 31 December 1948, died 17 May 2012) was one of seven children raised by devout Christian parents. She sang in church, and in her teens joined a funk group called The Crow, so named because Donna was the only black member of the group. Joe Carter

Joe Carter started guitar studies at an early age, eventually focusing on Jazz. While earning B.A. and M.A. degrees in Jazz Performance and starting his Jazz Ph.D. studies at New York University he studied privately with guitarists Sal Salvador, John Scofield, Allan Hanlon, saxophonist Lee Konitz and pianist Don Friedman.
