Douglas Noël Adams (11th March 1952–11th May 2001) was an English radio comic dramatist and novelist, most notably of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. Hitchhiker's began on radio, and developed into a "trilogy" of five books (which sold more than fifteen million copies during his lifetime), as well as a television series, a stage show, a comic book series, a computer game, and a feature film that was completed after Adams's death.

There are more than one artist who go by the name "Meow Meow." 1) Shortwave radio squeals, Beatles-esque tape loops and healthy doses of analog knob-twiddling all underscore the pure-sugar pop tones of Snow Gas Bones. Meow Meow exists somewhere between Brill Building tradition and grandpa's pre-war 78 rpms played with a broken stylus. With hypnotic visual projections, all members sharing vocal duties and swapping instruments, they've brought their kaleidoscopic live shows up the west coast, down to SXSW and soon to the UK and Japan.

Formed six millennia ago, and practicing only every other leap year on a full moon, the band has perfected their brand of crushing goblin metal. On a cold, dreary winter night in July of 2006, Nicholas Von Doom and Tim were in the woods engaging in general tomfoolery when they stumbled upon a mysterious cardboard box with their names crudely inscribed with a Sharpie® Permanent Marker.
