Daniel P. Carter

Daniel has grown up through the UK emo and hardcore scenes, playing in bands and putting on shows. Since 1998 he played in the band A, releasing four albums and achieving mainstream success and touring the world many times over playing shows and festivals with the likes of Blink 182, Deftones, Lostprophets, Muse and The Offspring. In downtime with A, Daniel started a band called The Lucky Nine with members of Hundred Reasons.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy began as a science fiction comedy radio series written by Douglas Adams (with some material in the first series provided by John Lloyd). It was originally broadcast in the United Kingdom over the BBC, soon followed by global short wave broadcast over the BBC World Service, in 1978. Broadcasting by National Public Radio (one of their first to occur in stereo) in the United States followed in March, 1981, with a repeat broadcast in September. The following year, 1982, the BBC series was carried by CBC Radio (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation).

BBC National Orchestra Of Wales

The BBC National Orchestra of Wales (Welsh: Cerddorfa Genedlaethol Gymreig y BBC) is the only professional symphony orchestra organisation in Wales, occupying a dual role as both a broadcasting orchestra and national orchestra. Currently, the orchestra’s conducting team consists of Thierry Fischer (Principal Conductor, since September 2006), Jac van Steen (Principal Guest Conductor), Tadaaki Otaka (Conductor Laureate) and Grant Llewellyn (Associate Guest Conductor).

Emma Kennedy

Emma Kennedy (born Elizabeth Emma Williams May 28, 1967, Corby, Northamptonshire) is an English television presenter, actress and writer. She was educated at Hitchin Girls' School and St Edmund Hall, Oxford. At Oxford in 1987, she worked with (among others) Richard Herring and Stewart Lee in comedy troupes the Seven Raymonds and The Oxford Revue. She used to present The Real Holiday Show on Channel 4.

Tristram Cary

Cary was educated at Westminster School in London, England and is the son of a pianist and the novelist, Joyce Cary, author of Mister Johnson. While working as a radar engineer for the British Navy during World War II, he independently developed his own conception of electronic and tape music, and is regarded as amongst the earliest pioneers of these musical forms. Following the war he created one of the first electronic music studios, later travelling around Europe to meet the small numbers of other early pioneers of electronic music and composition.
