Biography
Dad Horse Ottn was a hellraiser and a punk rock scoundrel till, one day, he saw the light. The banjo light. And, drawing from southern Appalachian gospel and from the depths of his own scarred soul, he started to preach the Word through rough pure honest song. He calls it KELLER GOSPEL for it's meant to shine into the darkness of basements and other godforsaken places or souls.
What's he playing? First and foremost, there's the voice. Then we've got strong archaic banjo, and a rich bass via the fotdella bass pedal, which is an unusual foot-operated organ.

Armchair Martian
Self described as "Good guys, bad band." Armchair Martian is a Fort Collins, CO based punk-rock group with a strong Country Music influence. They are closely linked to Bad Astronaut and Drag the River, a seperate band, yet which features two current and one former member. The Supremes were a very successful motown all-female singing group active from 1959 until 1977, performing at various times doo-wop, pop, soul, broadway showtunes, psychedelia, and disco. One of Motown's signature acts, The Supremes were the most successful African-American musical act of the 1960s, recording twelve #1 hits between 1964 and 1969, many of them written and produced by Motown's main songwriting and production team, Holland-Dozier-Holland.

Elliott Smith
Steven Paul "Elliott" Smith (August 6, 1969 – October 21, 2003) was an American songwriter and musician. Smith was born in Omaha, Nebraska, raised primarily in Texas, and resided for a significant portion of his life in Portland, Oregon, where he first gained popularity. His primary instrument was the guitar, but he was also proficient at piano, clarinet, bass, drums and harmonica. Smith had a distinctive vocal style characterized by his "whispery, spiderweb-thin delivery" and use of multi-tracking to create vocal harmonies.
