Despised Icon

Despised Icon is a technical death metal/deathcore band from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The band was formed by members of Neuraxis, In Dying Days and Heaven's Cry, in January 2002. The band is noted for the use of two full-time vocalists, Alexandre Erian, (Also one of the members of the rap group Crimson Syndicate) who sings using a mid-range yelling/shouting technique, and Steve Marois for the extremely low growls, high pitched screams, and "pig squeals".

Carnal Decay

Carnal Decay started in 2002 as a sideproject to do some Death Metal. After a couple shows the band flew over to New Jersey to record their first MCD "Carnal Decay" at Rob Grenoble's Watermusic Recorders Studio. Billy Milano (SOD, MOD), right living in the same house, was soon convinced to make the production and mix of two songs for the MCD. After a couple line-up changes the band improved a lot and recorded 3 songs for a 3-way split called "Grotesque First Action" with Prejudice (Bel) and Infant Bile (UK) which was released in the end of 2005 through Grotesque Productions (Spain).

"Chapters" is the bands debut full length album, tracked in Melbourne with The Red Shore mastermind Roman Koester in July 2011 at Complex Studios (Deez Nuts, 50 Lions) while enlisting the services of Swedish recording engineer Fredrik Nordström (Bring Me the Horizon, Dimmu Borgir) to take the helm for mixing and mastering duties. Taking care of the artwork for the release was hungarian based artist Grindesign (Suffokate, As I Lay Dying, Soilwork). Making a guest appearance on the record is Misery Signals frontman Karl Schubach.

Winds of Plague

Winds Of Plague is a symphonic deathcore band from LA, USA. The band was originally named "bleak december", but changed their name in April 2005, getting their name from the lyrics in Unearth's song "Endless", from their 2002 EP of the same name. The band contains the heavy breakdowns and stance towards music of the new wave of deathcore bands, but their unique use of more epic, melodic keyboard driven passages put them in the front of the pack.

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Turbo is a metal band. It was started in January 1980 by Henryk Tomczak (formerly in Stress and Heam, both pioneering groups). The first line-up were formed by Wojciech Hoffmann – guitar, Wojciech Anioła – drums and Wojciech Sowula – vocals.
