Napalm Death

Napalm Death are a death metal/grindcore band from Birmingham, England. The band was formed in the village of Meriden near Birmingham, England in 1981 by Nicholas Bullen and Miles Ratledge. Although other groups had previously played fast and aggressive music, Napalm Death are credited with defining the Grindcore genre through their fusion of punk and metal musical structures, aggressive playing, fast tempos, and deep guttural vocals. The group coined the term 'Grind' to describe the music they played in reference to the sound of American post-punk group Swans.

Kalmah

Kalmah is a band from Pudasjärvi, Finland. They are influenced by a high velocity brand of European Melodic Death Metal similar to that of metal bands like Children Of Bodom and Norther. The quintet formed in the autumn of 1999 following the demise of its first incarnation, Ancestor. In less than a year after its birth, Kalmah was signed by Spikefarm Records, a division of the Finnish label Spinefarm.

Tiamat is a metal band that formed in Täby, Sweden in 1988. Their music has been the subject of debate, utilizing subgenres like black metal, progressive, doom/death and gothic, but more recently they have focused on what has been described as atmospheric gothic metal with ethnic, psychedelic and experimental elements. Biography:
Initially, the band played straightforward black metal under the name Treblinka.

Fleshgod Apocalypse

Fleshgod Apocalypse is a brutal death metal band from Rome, Italy formed in 2007 by Hour of Penance member Francesco Paoli (Drums/Guitars/Backing vocals) , Christiano Trionfera (Guitars) and Paolo Rossi (Vocals/Bass, Promaetheus Unbound). Francesco Struglia joined the band after on Drums but leaving in 2008 due to personal interest change and other commitments. The band was previously known as the death/thrash metal act Tyrannic Ethical Reconstruction.

In 2008 Ulcerate the band's line-up changed considerably - after much consideration the decision was made to opt for a return to the lower pitched vocals utilised during the band's demo period, and so bassist Paul Kelland stepped up to take over the vocal duty from Ben Read. Covenance

Covenance is a death metal band hailing from Annapolis, Maryland, United States. The group was formed in March 2005, and released their debut 7" entitled "Ravaging the Pristine" later the same year. Featuring ex-members of Dying Fetus, Misery Index and Cryptopsy, the band is expected to put out an all-new release in early 2007 followed by extensive touring.

The Undertakers

At least three artists have used the name The Undertakers: 1) A british invasion group of the early 1960s remembered for songs like "Just a Little Bit" and "I Fell in Love." 2) The Undertakers were Kevin Shapen, Jason Hill, Pat Yonally and Todd Kinner, a garage punk revival band from Eugene, Oregon. Formed in 1991 by five high school dropouts that were more concerned about chicks and beer than if they were gonna land a top 100 hit. Influenced by The Sonics, Wailers, Kingsmen and countless others, The Undertakers prided themselves on raw energy and teen anger.
