One eskimO was ‘born’ in 2004 and is the brain child of Kristian Leontiou. At the time Kristian was at the end of promoting his debut album: Some Day Soon (Polydor) which sold over 200,000 copies. His debut single (Story Of My Life) also went Top 10 in the UK singles chart. Kris (as he is known to his friends) grew up in the north-west suburbs of London, his first experiences of music coming from his older sisters...

The Canadian post-rock band is a collective of up to sixteen musicians built around songwriter Scott Chernoff. Members are involved with other ventures such as Fly Pan Am, the Boxhead Ensemble, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, the Shalabi Effect, and Codeine. They play , a genre fusing traditional North American folk aesthetics with the free ethos of musique actuelle.

The Silent League

The Brooklyn-based orchestral pop band THE SILENT LEAGUE originated as the solo identity of singer Justin Russo in the late nineties. While a keyboardist with Mercury Rev in support of the critically acclaimed albums "Deserter's Songs" (V2) and "All Is Dream" (V2), Russo secretly stole each available moment in a busy tour schedule to write and record his own fragile and epic LP, "The Orchestra, Sadly, Has Refused".

Brittle Stars

After the breakup of Crush 22, Estelle and Joshua wanted to continue to play music together. Joshua asked two of his friends, Dan and Steve, and the Brittle Stars were born. They were a band from March 20, 1998 to July 20, 2001. They toured a few times, put out an album and an EP before everyone graduated from college and moved away. The members are still alive and involved in various musical endeavors. Dan stays busy with Tonevendor, Clairecords and Ayler.

Field Mouse

1) Field Mouse is a four-piece dream pop band from Brooklyn, NY. Seamlessly interweaving influences from shoegaze, indie, and power pop, Field Mouse offers lush sonic textures and expansive soundscapes to complement the airy, wistful vocals of singer/guitarist Rachel Browne. Through complex and delicate harmonies, the songwriting of Browne and guitarist Andrew Futral breathes new life into common themes of lost love and renewal.

Young Prisms

Young Prisms is a San Francisco psychedelic/garage/beach-pop band, influenced by the California coast, Charlton Heston, and late night spiritual pow wows. They recorded their self-titled EP in the living room of their apartment in the first half of 2009. On this first spaced-out EP, the band strands its listeners in the solitude of a beach fireworks display with nothing but lights for the tongue and acid for the ears--arresting, colors everywhere.

Zond

ZOND are a maximum volume, minimalist soundrock group based in Melbourne, Australia. They are named after a member of the group's childhood dog and/or a Hi-God People track and/or satellite of the USSR. Their live shows and recordings vary from screaming punk car crash to dark ambient alloy radiation field hum: all that can be known in advance is the intensity of the performance.
