ABEL GANZ http://www.abelganz.com was formed in 1980 by keyboard player Hew Montgomery and multi-instrumentalist Hugh Carter. Although both had played in various bands together over the years, it was a shared interest in progressive rock and a need for a songwriting platform that brought about the birth of Abel Ganz. The line up was completed with the addition of guitarist Malky McNiven and drummer Ken Weir. Rehearsing in the back of Hugh's music shop the band went on to record the "Cottage Label" tape which received favourable reviews in several "prog" fanzines.
Swedish progressive rock band. Formed in 1993 by veteran guitarist Roine Stolt as a touring band to support his solo album The Flower King, the band stayed together after the tour and has gone on to become one of the most prolific studio recording units in rock music of their era. Sean Filkins was born in Rochester, Kent, UK. Being closely assocaited with UK, neo-prog band Lorien as well as UK space rock ensemble, Soma, Filkins is not new to the progressive scene. This is his first release War & Peace & Other Stories under his own name. 1. A polish progressive rock/metal band. In December 2007 Marcin Kicyk, Jakub Żytecki and Rafal Biernacki met to form a band called DISPERSE. Fascination with artrock, fusion, metal and jazz contributed to setting the project music of which would abstract from common musical patterns and advance listeners’ imagination. During the first half a year of its existence, the band makes four songs and in March Szymon Balicki, drums, joins the band.

Flamborough Head has existed since the beginning of the nineties. Keyboard player Edo Spanninga felt it was time to start a band which would make progressive rockmusic, a musical flow which was nearest to Edo’s heart but in which he had never been active before. Frans Wolf (keyboards & drumcomputing) and Wiebe Wolf (guitars), both former members of Saga oriented progband Made in Holland, were interested in writing and recording. Along with Siebe Rein Schaaf (vocals) they went on as a quartet.
Spock's Beard is a progressive rock band formed in 1992 in Los Angeles by brothers Neal and Alan Morse. Neal (keyboards/vocals) and Alan (guitars) were joined by fellow musicians Nick D'Virgilio (Nick D'Virgilio, drums - also known as NDV) and Dave Meros (bass), and were later joined by veteran keyboardist Ryo Okumoto. Spock's Beard play a brand of progressive rock with pop music leanings, drawing much influence from Genesis and The Beatles. They are also well known for their intricate multi-part vocal harmonies and use of counterpoint much in the vein of Gentle Giant.
Pallas is a rock band from Scotland Pallas was one of the bands at the vanguard of what was termed the "neo-progressive" movement during progressive rock's second-wave revival in the early eighties (other major players included Marillion, IQ, Twelfth Night, and Pendragon). After releasing a self-produced LP entitled Arrive Alive (recorded in Scotland in 1981), Pallas was courted by EMI records (who had just signed contemporaries Marillion) and thrust into the studio with none other than Yes/ELP wunderkind Eddie Offord to record the LP that would become The Sentinel.
