Born in the UK in 1984, to a multicultural family, Bella began playing the guitar at age 15 whilst living in Copenhagen, DK.
Originally heavily influenced by fingerpicking guitar works of John Williams, Ralph Towner and melodic composition of Yul Anderson, who frequently played in Copenhagen city centre. It wasn't until 2008 she started experimenting with integrating percussive techniques after witnessing the posibilities in levels of texture created by Thomas Leeb, Erik Mongrain, Kaki King and Newton Faulkner.

Julia Harris was born in Cardiff but spent the first few years of her life in Cape Town, South Africa whale watching and riding on the cable car up to Table Mountain. Life growing up in South Wales was full of adventure too, camping, singing around bonfires, mud sliding down hills in the country and putting on talent shows for the local kids in the street. At 7 Julia was given a Casio VL-1 Keyboard from Santa and started playing along to her parents record collection. Zeppelin, Floyd, Squeeze, Paul Simon and Motown classics made a big impact on her.

CONICS are an explosive young five-piece post-punk band from Sydney, Australia that formed in mid-2010. Their music is rhythmically driven, incorporating bright, high-pitched guitars, soaring synth lines and harmonious vocal melodies. CONICS' influences range from a host of British new-wave and post-punk acts such as The Cure and Joy Division, to an array of contemporary indie artists including Foals and Klaxons.
