Mono

There are eight artists sharing the name Mono; The name is used by a Japanese post-rock band, a British trip-hop band, a Dutch post-rock band, a female Austrian reggae artist, a Swedish trance artist, a Korean pop ballad trio, a Polish hip-hop band and a new Danish indie rock band. Japanese: MONO are a post-rock group from Tokyo, Japan. The songs, all of which are instrumental, are usually focused on layered guitar melodies. Strings and pianos are also prominently featured in some songs. MONO are known for their powerful live shows and their complex guitar work.

Transport Aerian

The project was founded in 2003 by singer/multi-instrumentalist Hamlet. It always aimed at the wide area of progressive music, supported by vanguard lyrics. After years of live shows, in 2007, in his own recording studio, Hamlet began working on a conceptual album titled: 'The Dream'. The album represented a dark and gloomy mix of progressive rock, trip-hop, ambient and industrial music and was released in march 2008.

Glenn Branca

Glenn Branca (born October 6, 1948 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania) is an composer and guitarist. Branca studied theater at Emerson College in Boston in the early 1970s. While there, he began experimenting with sound as the founder of an experimental theater group called Bastard Theater. He moved to New York in 1976. His first encounter with the NYC music scene was with the N.DoDo Band whom he observed many times at their rehearsal space- Phil Demise's Gegenschein Vaudeville Placenter. This is where he first met jeffrey lohn who was playing electric violin with the N.

The Sailplanes

The Sailplanes are Stacey Hine (guitar/vocals), Tim Webster (guitar/vocals), Yola Rodowicz (drums) and Mihai Cucos (bass). After recording and self-releasing the mini-album 'A second, or ten years later', The Sailplanes moved to Berlin in mid 2007 and played shows there with drummer Daniel Kexel. Following their return to London in late 2008, the band have been writing and recording new material.

Pram

Pram are a band formed in Birmingham, England in 1990. The band originally consisted of Rosie Cuckston and Sam Owen, and their first album "Gash" was self-released and sold by mail order and at gigs. The band attracted the attention of Too Pure Records (already home to Stereolab, Mouse on Mars and PJ Harvey), and between 1993 and 1995 the label released several increasingly sophisticated albums and EPs.

Sleepyhead

There are multiple artists recording under the name Sleepyhead. 1. Samuel Pohner aka $leepyhead originally began makin music in his hometown of Feeding Hills, MA in 1999. But not fully flexing his styles until his work with KnowSleep in 2006 with Knowa Knowone. The group had two releases to date. Later in 2007 he continued with solo production and a side project with Mimosa called Sexytime....Now in 2011 Sleepyhead has progressed beyond earlier genres and takes on sound and continued with a multi genre...
