Farse

Farse were a Ska-Core band from Birmingham, they started in 1996, and went through a few lineup changes until they ended up with Ade, Chris, Dan, Ollie and Tomas as the final line up. They played loads of shows around the UK, supporting many UK ska bands like Capdown and King Prawn. There are several bands called "The Janitors" 1)The Janitors were an alternative rock/Noise rock band from Sunderland & Newcastle, formed in 1984. They were led by singer Andrew Denton, who was backed by Craig Hope (guitar, keyboards), Simon Warnes (bass guitar), and Tim Stirland (drums). Described as "a mixture of Membranes meeting Captain Beefheart, they signed to Marc Riley's In-Tape label, releasing their debut single, "Chicken Stew" in July 1985.

Spore was a noise rock band from Boston (Massachusetts, United States) formed in the wake of the early 1990s grunge movement. Spore were signed in 1993 on the Taang! Records label, the same label which initially signed The Lemonheads, the Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Mission of Burma, with whom the band released a 7 inch EP. Lead singer Mona Elliot's voice has been described as channelling "anger and determination with a style heavily influenced by early Throwing Muses-era Kristin Hersh.

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) The Untouchables, A mod revival band from Los Angeles, CA that got its start in the early 80's. Their sound crossed genres from soul to ska to reggae. Most notable for their minor hits "I Spy (For the F.B.I.)" & "Free Yourself". They also had a non-singing cameo as the "Scooter Guys" in the 1984 cult movie "Repo Man". 2) The Untouchables, A hardcore band from DC. One of the bands that laid the groundwork for the legendary DC hardcore punk scene of the early eighties / late seventies. The band existed from October 1979 until January 1981.
