There are at least seven artists with this name:
1) Surrender is a political peace punk band from Oakland/Berkeley, California, USA.
They have one self-titled 7", an full length LP titled "Paper Thrones", a live tape recorded at 924 Gilman, and a split with Acts of Sedition. 2) Surrender is also a well known band from Zeeland (a province of the Netherlands). They play solid dialectrock in "Zeeuwsch dialect".

No Consequence

No Consequence are a Southern UK 6-piece, now signed to Basick Records. The bands style can loosely be described as progressive/tech metal, however, influences can be heard from death metal and hardcore, all the way to jazz fusion. The band are currently writing/recording their debut full length, coming summer 09! The bands current line up is: Phil W - vocals

There are at least 5 bands with the name Point of View: 1. Point of View(POV) is a German synthpop band formed in the mid 90's. 2. Point of View is also a progressive rock/metal band residing in Poland with three releases to their credit. 3. Point of View also is a Belgian positive hardcore band who brings you Oldschool Beatdown ! 4. Point of View is the greatest pop punk band alive and are from northeast pa. you like blink like them.

After several musical events linked to the international scene and media, Greg (guitars/samples/production), Did (bass/samples) and Tom (vocals) formed NEOSIS. They soon would be joined by Seb (drums) who brings the missing element to this entity. NEOSIS is an acronym which literally means New Evolution Of Society Influenced by Scientism. It's a conceptualized vision of a futuristic society in which humanity is scientifically organized.

Meshuggah

Meshuggah, whose name is taken from the Hebrew and Yiddish word for "crazy", are a five-piece band from Umeå, Sweden, founded in 1987. Their style is most easily described as extreme/technical metal with some jazz influence. They use extended polymetric passages, complex drum patterns, angular, dissonant guitar riffs, and harsh vocals. Their lineup has always been consistent, apart from bass which has been handled by many people since the band's conception.

The classic trademarks of this Italian progressive-metal band are catchy melodies, explosive riffs, choir harmonies and a powerful rhythm section. As for comparisons, they sit comfortably with the likes of Dream Theater, Symphony X and Vanden Plas. They went through a series of personnel changes and at last count, the band consisted of vocalist Titta Tani, guitarist Diego Reali, bassist Andrea Arcangeli, drummer Fabio Costantino and keyboard player Fabio Sanges. They have released six studio albums since 1994, including a mini cd.
