Giraffage

Giraffage is the creation of 21-year old multi-instrumentalist/producer Charlie Yin of San Francisco, California. The general sound of Giraffage is described as a weaver of refreshingly crisp electro dream pop tunes that thread their way through loose-knit grooves and tightly-toothed rhythms. Gaining inspiration from things as diverse as dreams or the weather, Giraffage evokes a woozy yet familiar mood that is sure to stimulate your eardrums and leave you feeling a sense of nostalgia and melancholy.

Nosaj Thing

After cutting his teeth by making music on various archaic computers and programs in his early years, Nosaj Thing is now, without a doubt, among L.A.'s finest musical modulators. His electronic soundscapes and wild beat tectonics play like vignettes that affect the listener's mind as deeply as he hits their soul. Nosaj Thing creates nothing less than the sound mastery of beat driven, experimental electronics from a gifted noise constructor.

Already heralded by the Numbers, Ernest Endeavors and LuckyMe crews in the UK, the Low End Theory residents in LA and his own Frite Nite label/crew in SF, Salva is primed as he preps the release of his debut album, Complex Housing for the Friends of Friends (FoF Music) label.

Artist Type:

Shigeto

Artists take on pseudonyms for a multitude of reasons, but in Zach Saginaw’s case, those reasons run deeper than most. Zach records under the name Shigeto. It’s his middle name; it’s also his grandfather’s name, a tribute to the Japanese branch of Zach’s family tree. Shigeto also means “to grow bigger”—appropriate, given Zach’s premature birth-weight of less than a pound. Today, Shigeto stands for Zach’s vividly beautiful electronic music.

Artist Type:

The Glitch Mob is dropping the filthy sounds of the future up and down the West Coast and around the globe, crunking out crowds left and right and conquering the bodies of all who stumble into the insane dance riot that is a Glitch Mob show.

Lionel Glitchy

Lionel Glitchy, aka Ste Kirby, first became interested in electronic music production around 2005. He was a rock music musician as a youth and had a penchant for Prog but always enjoyed listening to IDM producers such as Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Prefuse73 Venetian snares etc. As his curiosity towards synthesised audio developed, he took the time to learn the skills himself. Initially using Reason he quickly made the switch to Ableton Live to more easily incorporate audio and has never looked back.
