Geeneus
Geeneus is the brains behind pirate/internet radio station that broadcasts Dubstep, Grime and Funky from somewhere in the heart of London RINSE 100.3 (www.rinse.fm) his latest work is Funky but with a grime tinge, but he started out with the infamous grime/garage crew Pay As U Go, which had Wiley and Gods Gift as members.
Not to forget the legendary DJ Slimzee who back in 1999 was at the fore front behind the sound now known today as Grime. As back then this sound was un-established the underground mainstream was strictly UK Garage.
Dubchild
Dub child stems from a musical background of reggae/dub, hip-hop, house, and drum & bass - anything with a pulse and a touch of soul. Dub child started producing from the age of eleven and has not stopped since he started producing hip-hop, which was and still is his main love of music. He began his musical journey on an Amiga 500 which gave him the necessary tools to enhance his production skills. After a while Dub child moved on to P.C. format, using cubase and an akai sampler. He was then introduced to the world of U.K./speed garage, which he automatically took to.

Bassnectar
Bassnectar on his history, posted via bassnectar.net A quick run down of my musical life:
When I was in junior high I began discovering music that struck me, as opposed to music that felt familiar (like my parent’s music). This was mostly Metallica (the first song I heard of theirs was “Enter Sandman”, so this was after they had already become “mainstream” and blown up), NWA (which I memorized completely verbatim)...

Blackmass Plastics
Black Mass Plastics records are synonymous with snarling, bass-driven machine funk in the fierce spirit of old hardcore. Part of the Dead Silence crew with The Dexorcist, takes his experience of 80's electro / industrial music and 90's rave into the studio, churning out tense, hard-edged and futuristic dancefloor tracks that fiercely defy the boundaries between breakbeats, electro and 2-step. These tracks don't just merely rock your body; they grab you by the throat and smash you hard in the gut.
Stormfield
Combat’s main subverter Stormfield was sonically trained via the early strains of LFO, Aphex Twin, Black Dog, Autechre and the first wave of dark, techy atmospheric drum and bass masters Photek and Source Direct, later carrying these influences proudly through other forms of music like electro, dubstep and hard breakage. Later exposure to the works of Scorn and a 4-year stint living near Brixton’s colossal dub soundsystems left him with a pathological need for chest-rushing basslines.

Marlow
There are 2 projects by the name Marlow 1. "Making his Storming debut with the simply superb 'The Rope', Marlow is one of the new breed of Dubstep producers making waves in the scene, but has accomplished this in a very short time. Taking influences from, amongst other things, 70's psychedelic funk band Parliament/Funkadelic, Marlow manages to combine musical elements with underground bassline sensibilities and the result is a truly fresh sound. With a slew of releases lined up for a multitude of labels, Marlow's star is definitly rising and is certainly one artist to look out for." Caspa
