Amebix

Amebix, formed in 1978, was an important UK punk band that many consider to have started the subgenre "crust punk", by mixing heavy metal with hardcore punk. They established crust as being separate from thrash metal by mixing punk music with metal tempos, as opposed to thrash bands' mixing of metal music with punk tempos. Influential in the anarcho-punk genre, Amebix' song "No Gods, No Masters" became a slogan for the movement worldwide.

Sotatila

You'd think this was 1983 and you're listening to a slab of excellent Scandinavian hardcore that was so prevalent in those days. Sung in Finnish, Sotatila assaults you with an explosion of D-beat that has strong elements of early bands like Tampere SS, Kaaos, Riistetyt, Mob 47 and comparable to some "newer" acts like Rajoitus, Ääritila, or Decontrol.

Step On It

There are two different bands under the name Step On It: an american, and a hungarian one. The hungarian Step On It has been founded in 2004 and since that time working with same line-up. The base of their music is intense, fast, short hardcore, but they’re all like punk, crust, grind, thrash, death, black, doom, etc. bands as well. That’s plain to be heard in their songs, spare to fit in style categories – their music is a true ALLSCHOOL MONSTER.
