Groundation

Groundation is a Fusion-Reggae band based in Sonoma County, California. It was established in 1998 by Harrison Stafford, Ryan Newman and Marcus Urani upon their meeting at the Jazz program at Sonoma State University. Groundation's music incorporates the lyrical struggle of Roots Reggae, the progressive musicianship of Funk/Jazz fusion, and other-worldly transcendental Dub. The 9-piece band creates an altogether new Reggae sound, featuring swirling horns, stout poly-rhythmics, and soulful harmony vocals.

The Fractions are a ska punk band from around Manchester UK, heavily influenced by 90s punk bands such as Leatherface and Samiam, as well as ska influenced bands such as Capdown and the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. The six piece band started off life as a ska band and gradually developed into their own unique blend of melodic punk and skacore.

The Loafers

The Loafers were a British ska-revival band who arrived on the scene in the late '80s, well after the original Two-Tone movement according to which the group patterned itself. Specials/Selecter drummer John Bradbury was an early advocate and produced many of their records. After a ska festival at the London Astoria, Laurel Aitken tapped the Loafers for additional duties as a backing session band.

Dan Potthast

Dan Potthast is the singer of popular St. Louis, MO ska/punk band MU330. He has also released three solo albums, Eyeballs (1999), Sweets and Meats (2002) and Eat The Planet (2008). Dan has been the lead singer/frontman for MU330 since the band first started playing shows in 1988. Dan's songs have been used in numerous TV shows and movies, including Nip Tuck, The Brendan Leonard Show, and the German films "Pas De Deux" and "Dopplepack.
