Katchafire

Katchafire is a reggae band from Hamilton, New Zealand. They present an infusion of the roots reggae lineage with an undeniably Maori sound. They feature Logan Bell (Guitar, Vocals), Jamey Ferguson (Keyboards, Saxophone, Vocals), Haani Totorewa (Keyboards, Guitar, Vocals), Grenville Bell, (Lead Guitar) Ara Adams-Taratewa (Bass), Jordan Bell (Drums), and Leon Davey (Percussion, Harmonica, Vocals).

The Phoenix Foundation

There are two bands called The Phoenix Foundation; one from New Zealand and a lesser-known act from Finland. New Zealand's The Phoenix Foundation formed in Wellington, New Zealand by founding members Conrad Wedde, Sam Scott and Luke Buda in 1997. They were joined by Tim Hansen (bass), Richie Singleton (drums) and Will Ricketts (percussion) in 2001. After playing for several years they released the China Cove EP.

Falter

There are several artists going by the name Falter; 1.Falter are an alternative metal band from Blackburn. With influences taken from a vast amount of artists and genres, they blend a mix of hard rock, metal and grunge to create a raw and visceral sound that they can undoubtedly call their own. Falter are indisputably crowd pleasers, as their live performances have been described as fierce, thrilling and an adrenaline rush of honest intensity that other local bands seem to lack.

WE ARE ROMANS

We Are Romans are an exciting, unique electronic three piece reigning from Auckland, New Zealand. Formed in the Winter of 2008, James (guitar/keys/vocals), Timmy (Vocals/keys), from band Callista's Journey, and Brian (keys), have been writing energetic, emotive music that is both meaningful and catchy. They have successfully fused together the vast possibilities electronic music offers with their different musical backgrounds, and hardcore influences, to create diverse music with a unique sound.

Don Mcglashan

Don McGlashan is a New Zealand musician and songwriter who has been a member of bands such as The Plague, From Scratch, The Whizz Kids, Blam Blam Blam, The Front Lawn, and The Mutton Birds. He composed several pieces for the Limbs Dance Company. McGlashan won the 'Best Song' award in the 1982 New Zealand Music Awards, for the Blam Blam Blam song Don't Fight It Marsha, It's Bigger Than Both Of Us.

Ladi6

Ladi6 is one of New Zealand's premier vocalists and MCs. Starting her musical career in Christchurch, Ladi6 was part of the all-girl hip-hop group Sheelahroc. Sheelahroc had the hit track "If I Gave You The Mic" and Ladi6 was nominated for Best Vocalist/MC at the 2003 bNet music awards. Ladi6 then moved to Auckland with her band Verse Two who quickly gained a reputation as a top New Zealand live soul/hip-hop group. They won the bNet best new act award in 2004, toured New Zealand with packed shows and supported international acts such as The Roots and De La Soul.

Brooke Fraser

Brooke Gabrielle Fraser Ligertwood (born December 15, 1983 in Wellington, New Zealand) is a Tui Award winning New Zealand singer-songwriter, World Vision ambassador and one of the principal worship leaders of Christian worship band Hillsong United. Her debut album What to Do with Daylight was released in New Zealand in 2003 and has since been certified 7x platinum. Her second studio album, Albertine, was released in 2006 and has been certified 5x platinum and reached #3 on the U.S. Top Christian Albums chart. Her third studio album, Flags, will be released October 12.
