Stout

Formed 7 years ago, Baltimore, USA’s Stout continue the fine tradition of hardcore that has come from that city, carrying on the distinctive choppy, brutal sound that past legends such as Gut Instinct and Next Step Up pioneered.
Their early demos (one of which features on their Rucktion release) were rough and ready, and only hinted at the savage, warlike fury that their long overdue debut unleashes. Drawing on a wide range of influences, Stout manages to be incredibly heavy yet diverse.

Let It Die

Metro Detroit, Michigan. Surprisingly, Let it Die was formed as a side project by members of metal band Black Dahlia Murder, though what you might have heard from BDM really bears no resemblance to Let it Die, who instead fall in line with metallic hardcore. On the track "Already Dead," guitarists John Deering and Chris Trestain lay down ultra heavy riffs that rival hardcore mainstays Sworn Enemy and Hatebreed. Partner these with Sanchez's frustration and you have a recipe for a great hardcore tune.

Final Prayer

Having been friends for several years and gathering experience in bands like Battle Royale,
Disrespect, Shortage and Lifeforce, for some local scenesters the time was right to bring
the violence back to the dancefloor. And what better way to do this without getting hurt
themselves than to form a band. They started jamming in 2003, with the aim of playing
straight up, traditional hardcore with a progressive shape and the taste of major
brutality. With a few songs already written, the band welcomed a second guitarist into the fold,
