The band took first place and won “cash plus recording time”. As time went on the band changed its name to “Black and White” and soon became very popular on the Illinois Club Circuit. There is more than one artist with this name. 1) Psychonaut was a ritual ambient project formed in 1997. Changed name (and musical style) to Psychonaut 75 in 2001. 2) Influenced by psychedelic experiences and meetings the trance-project Psychonaut was born. It consists of two members (Dr. Balser, Lothar H.), which started making music in the early 90's. They released some tracks on Trance-Compilations like Goahead, Planet Goa, Chakra etc.

Three bands with the name Psychonauts exist : 1) DJ band formed by Paul Mogg and Pablo Clements. 2) Psytrance duo from Greece. 3) Psychobilly band from Switzerland. 1)The Psychonauts are Paul Mogg and Pablo Clements. Two school friends from Yeovil in Somerset. They became friends through a shared love of hip hop and disco.
