(1): The Holidays are an Australian indie pop band. Formed in Sydney in 2006, the band consists of Simon Jones, Will Magnus, Alex Kortt and Andrew Kerridge. The band often has additional musicians, including percussionists for their live shows. In Australia, the band has released 2 EP's ("The Holidays EP" & "When The Ship Goes Down") & their debut album "Post Paradise" in September 2010. The album is scheduled to be released in Japan in early 2011.

Song writing is a huge part of my life as it releases so much emotion and is actually so fun to do. I love it when the audience feels like a big wide ocean, and they're peacefully sitting there in silence. I love making people feel emotion through song and taking them with me through the journey. Clare Bowditch is a a critically acclaimed, ARIA award-winning singer from Melbourne, Victoria. She came to prominence in 2005 with the release of her second album "What Was Left", which received excellent critical reviews, high rotation airplay on radio station Triple J and moderate commercial success. Any list of awesome Aussies should include Anni Piper. An outstanding bassist in her own right, she's an authentic roots blues rocker that possesses a voice to die for. It has even been touted that an appropriate compliment would be that she sounds 100% American! Anni remembers with clarity the first time she heard the blues back in her school days. “It was Paul Butterfield Blues Band playing ‘Born in Chicago’ - I knew straight away that this was the direction I was heading.” she says.

Anal Discharge is a grindcore influenced pop punk band formed on the Central Coast, NSW Australia in 2005. The lineup consisted of Matthew Vaughn, Nathan Martin, Jeffrey Brown, and Grant Hunter. The band released one EP, as well as a split double floppy-disk with Sydney's Kill A Celebrity. A number of live bootleg recordings are available online.
