Demon

Demon is the name attributed to more than one artist: (1) A French house music producer, best known for the the Lifelike remix of his song, 'Happy Therapy'. (2) Just as the long hot summer of 1976 had given birth to Punk, the long, cold winter of 1979 spawned the now legendary, New Wave Of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM), a movement of such magnitude that it is still being talked about more than twenty years later. Hard rocking, fast, loud, aggressive, NWOBHM captured the imagination of those disillusioned with disco, put-off by punk and nonplussed by the emerging New-Romantics.

Satan

There are more bands with this name: 1) Satan (UK) was an nwobhm band formed in 1979.

After they released Out of Reach in 1985, they changed their name back to Satan and Michael Jackson (no, not that Michael Jackson...) joined on vocals.

Cloven Hoof

Here is what BNR Metal Pages has about Cloven Hoof: Cloven Hoof burst onto the NWOBHM scene with quite some flair, featuring outlandish stage costumes (heavy Kiss- style makeup, futuristic-looking clothing), and bearing the stage names of Air (Lee Payne), Water (David Potter), Fire (Steve Rounds), and Earth (Kevin Poutney). The music (on their debut EP) was actually pretty good, bearing a heavy, dark NWOBHM sound with a slightly spacey feel to it.
