they play sheer fast heavy hardcore music. 'lay of the landfill' was recorded on march 16th (drums/guitars) in james' room and april 18th (bass/vocals) in thom's room using a four-track and two mics. the track was mixed in tristan's room on april 25th.

Heatseeker was supposedly a project created by Caleb Scofield (also of Old Man Gloom, Cave In, Zozobra). The debut album was scheduled to be released on HydraHead in July (2008) and feature drumming from Aaron Harris of Isis who also produced the album. However, for unknown reasons it was instead released as Zozobra's second album in August (2008) with the title 'Bird of Prey'.
