In My Defence

Started in late 2007, In My Defence originated in the Caledon area. We've gone through alot of changes and whatnot including members, names and songs, but it seems like this time we got it right. Other than that we're here to play the music we love and have some JKS times. Feel free to join in as we make kids do backflips with our breakdowns and all round hXc-ness. Thank you

Authors

Bitter/ sweet, frantic yet smooth, two minute anthemic bursts neatly sums up Toronto four piece Authors. While the name may appear new, the band is not, known since the summer of 2006 and until recently as The Smile. Initially a side project of Akroid drummer Jason Galbraith, Authors crept into priority over the fall and winter of 2008. Authors successfully smashes the tricky catchiness of early 90's FAT style punk into angular and mathematical mid 90s post-hardcore. Live and recorded, Authors seamlessly seals the deal ushering in a whole new era and style.

The Ruthless

"The Ruthless" is an intense band with a sense of melody, and brutality. Their songs are packed full of driving rhythms, powerful choruses, and technical guitar playing. They are known for their amazing stage presence, which involves climbing fences, hanging from ceilings, head banging, stage diving, and crowd surfing. It's no wonder they've shared the stage with acts such as All Shall Perish, As Blood Runs Black, Destruction, Into Eternity, Vital Remains, and Dying Fetus. When they're done rocking, they still have time to kill a six foot beer bong or two!
