1) A Canadian indie, electronic music duo based out of Montreal, Quebec. Beast's members include vocalist and lyricist Betty Bonifassi and composer/producer Jean-Phi Goncalves.

Helix

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Helix is a heavy metal band that formed in 1974 for a Battle of the Bands contest in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada and is best known for their 1984 single "Rock You". The original lineup consisted of singer Brian Vollmer, guitarists Brent Doerner and Paul Hackman, bassist Keith Zurbrigg and drummer Brian Doerner. In 1992, Hackman died when the group's van rolled down a 40-foot enbankment after a concert in Vancouver.

Beatnik is a progressive/drum & bass/IDM outfit from Bexhill-On-Sea, England. The second artist is the DJ Beatnik who is most commonly labled as "Psy-Trance" who is known for such songs as "kazoodle beach" and "stealing time".

Working as a professional audio consultant, producer, engineer, he is also doing mastering for many labels: Vaporvent, Peak Rec, Geomagnetic.tv, Mind Funk, Noise Poison, Drop Out, plus a growing list of clients. After training in visual arts with the legendary Doctor Spook they produced the Video: “Chromatone - Mightochondria” released on the successful Geomagnetic “Magnus” and "Virtual Vortex" DVDs. As VJ Dr. Hoffman he has done projected visuals at several events.

Eat Static

Eat Static is Merv Pepler, an electronic music project from England formed in 1990. Joie Hinton left the group in February 2008 after 18 years to spend more time with his family. Merv Pepler and Joie Hinton met as drummer and keyboard player (respectively) for the Ozric Tentacles, a long-standing psychedelic "space-rock" band from Somerset. Although the Ozrics incorporated elements of electronic music, Pepler and Hinton were drawn towards the rave-oriented dance music.
