There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Fake is an anonymous songwriting duo consisting, let's say, the brothers Jack and Jake Fake from, let's say, Baltimore USA. Their first release was their re arranged version of Lou Reed's classic "I'm waiting for the man" originally released in 1967 on the legendary The Velvet Underground and Nico album produced by Andy Warhol. Their latest tune is 1.2.3.

MC Det has been involved in the Jungle scene since way back in the rave days, when he used to MC on the pirate Drum n Bass radio station Kool FM.
His first Jungle MC album was 'Out of Det' released on Sour Records in 1995. The album was a success in this country, across American, Japan and Europe.
He has also recorded albums with Red Snapper and Cut La Roc showing the Det ain't just feeling one type of music.

Shut Up And Dance - british breakbeat pioneers from scratch. Started with Hip Hop tunes and set up a soundsystem with DJ Hype but soon they integrated House and Techno influences and sped up the beats. With Reinforced SUAD could count as inventors of UK Hardcore. Early classics like Lamborghini, 10 Pounds To Get In, Greenman, The Art Of Moving Butts or the famous Raving I'm Raving saved them a place in the Hall Of Fame of UK Hardcore. After having problems with several unauthorized samples their own label "Shut Up And Dance" disappeared - but rose again from the dust in the last few years.
Blackout Crew
Blackout Crew are a set of DJs and MCs from Bolton, UK. The group formed in 2004 at a Lottery-funded youth club called Harmony. They shot to fame with their club track, "Put A Donk On It", a tongue-in-cheek stab at 'chav' culture where popular dance tracks are taken and have a heavy 'donk' bassline attached to them. In the group are six MC’s; Kevin Allison AKA Dowie MC, Rob Davis AKA MC Rapid, Kurtis Chadwick AKA MC Viper, Matty Fisher AKA Dubble MC, Zak Kabbani AKA MC Zak K and Jordan Cover AKA MC Cover.

There are at least two artists with this name. 1) M.E.D. aka Medaphoar is a hip hop MC who has recorded with Madlib, Wildchild, and Oh No. M.E.D's debut album was released on Stones Throw Records in 2005. Entitled Push Comes To Shove, the album features production from Madlib, J Dilla, Oh No (Madlib's younger brother), and Just Blaze. A CD entitled "Bang Ya Head" was released during Stones Throw's 2005 Tour and features M.E.D (known as Medaphoar) guest spots from 1998 to 2005.
M.E.D. made a dis track toward Canibus called "Lightwork."

There are at least two artists called Maxim: 1) Keith Palmer (born 21 March 1967), best known as Maxim or Maxim Reality, is an MC of the British electronica/rave band The Prodigy. He is known for his fierce style of appearance in both music videos and live shows, often wearing scary contact lenses and kilts. His fierce style is also vibrant in the lyrical sense; in live shows he is known to scream and shout to hype up the audience.
