Repulsion

Repulsion are a legendary band hailed as being one of the biggest influences on the genre, despite only releasing one official full length album entitled "Horrified" in 1989 (recorded in 1986). The band formed in 1984 under the name Genocide, releasing three demos with this name. Later, they changed the name to the more "fitting name" for their style of music and lyrical content, which is Repulsion.

Brutal Truth

Brutal Truth is a New York City-based grindcore band that was formed in 1990 by ex-Anthrax and Nuclear Assault bassist Dan Lilker. Brutal Truth was one of the pioneers of grindcore who enjoyed world wide success, particularly in Japan and Australia. Originally signed to Earache Records, on which they released two albums, 1992's Extreme Conditions Demand Extreme Responses, and 1994's Need to Control, as well as an EP entitled Perpetual Conversion, and a 7" single for the song "Godplayer".

Cerebral Bore

Cerebral bore are a Death metal band based in Glasgow Scotland. Although the name was used with differant members in 2004, the cerebral bore that exists now wasnt born until 2006. From then, the main focus of the band has been to write brutal music and bring it to metal fans all over the planet.
The Band recorded the E.P "The dead flesh architect" in November 2006, and played their first show the same month.

The idea to create a southern grind band that would up the ante in American grindcore came about in July 2002, exactly one day after the demise of founding members Chris Andrews and James Delgado's sludge band EOTS. Violent, blistering grind seemed like the only interesting option after wandering the destructive quagmire of slow-as-mud riffs and pummeling sound levels for a few years, learning their instruments and gaining stage experience.

Facebreaker

Facebreaker is a -band formed in the summer of 1999 in Finspång, Sweden. The band consists of vocalist Roberth Karlsson, guitarists Mika Lagrén and Janne Ivarsson, basist and backing vocalist Jonas Magnusson and drummer Mikael Wassholm. Facebreaker started as an idea of a straight-forward metal act and in the autumn of 1999 the band began rehearsing. Jonas came to join the band after stopping by a rehearsal-session.

Lock Up

There are multiple artists with this name: 1) Lock Up was a deathgrind band from UK. The band was a side project created by bassist Shane Embury (Napalm Death), with Peter Tägtgren (Hypocrisy) on vocals, the late Jesse Pintado (ex Napalm Death, Terrorizer co-founder) on guitar, and Nicholas Barker (ex-Cradle of Filth, ex-Dimmu Borgir) on drums. They released Pleasures Pave Sewers in 1999, and Hate Breeds Suffering in 2002, with new vocalist Tomas Lindberg (At the Gates).

Mumakil

Mumakil does officialy exist since 2004 - four grind freaks decided to create a new war machine. Jéjé (guitar, former Nostromo member) and Taverne (bass, former Knut member) were motivated to to play together a crushing and destroying grindcore - the idea was to play a really brutal and blasting death/grind in the vein of Terrorizer, Brutal Truth etc. Then Thomas (vocals) and Seb (drums) joined the crew. They released the first album yet - Customized Warfare.

Blood Duster

Blood Duster are a five piece // band from Melbourne, Australia, known for their fast and heavy musical style. The band are currently enjoying some semi-mainstream success after their self-titled Blood Duster album and an appearance at the annual Big Day Out festival. The band's first offering, Yeest, was a straightforward album. The follow up album, Str8 Outta Northcote was a southern-flavored stoner rock album. The band's third album, Cunt was a more intense and true-to-its-roots offering, with rhythmic bluesy metal guitars and heavy drumwork.

Covenance

Covenance is a death metal band hailing from Annapolis, Maryland, United States. The group was formed in March 2005, and released their debut 7" entitled "Ravaging the Pristine" later the same year. Featuring ex-members of Dying Fetus, Misery Index and Cryptopsy, the band is expected to put out an all-new release in early 2007 followed by extensive touring.
