So Solid Crew

So Solid Crew are a UK garage and grime act whose hits include "Oh No" and "21 Seconds", the latter of which reached number one in the official UK Singles Chart in August 2001. Another hit, "They Don't Know", reached number three in November 2001 and "Haterz" got to number eight in January 2002. "Ride Wid Us" was less successful (UK number 19 in April 2002). They have also released a single, "Broken Silence" which spoke out about government prejudice which they had faced.

Horsepower Productions are truly unique. Many credit them along side El-B for the creation of the genre that is 'dubstep' Their debut LP 'In Fine Style' was released in November 02 and was a collection of 6 new tracks - making up a double 12" (with bonus re-issue 'Gorgon Sound') and a single 13 track CD. The CD contained these seven tracks and a collection of other Horsepower 12"s now mainly out of press.

Lethal Bizzle

Lethal Bizzle (also known as Lethal B) is one of the fastest growing East London Grime artists. In December, 2004 he released "Pow (Forward)", also known as "Forward Riddim", which was banned from airplay by some mainstream stations; it entered the UK Singles Chart at number 11 in the first chart of 2005. His former group, the More Fire Crew released the album More Fire Crew CV which did poorly and they were dropped from their record label. In 2002 he brought out a song called "Oi!" with his former crew which reached the top ten in the UK Singles Charts.

1) DJ Q (real name Paul Flynn) is a "deep" house DJ and producer from Glasgow, Scotland. He hails from Cranhill in the East End of Glasgow and has released music on labels such as Filter and Glasgow Underground since the mid 1990's. Scorcher

Scorcher (real name Tayo Jarrett) is a grime MC and producer from North London. He began his career in Cold Blooded where he became known for his 'shank' bars, and would regularly attend pirate radio and work his way up through the North London grime circuit. Scorcher had to serve a prison sentence for a short period of time in 2006, and while in jail his mixtape Simply The Best dropped and was greeted with good reviews from the grime scene. Many believe 2005 to mid 2006 was when Scorcher was at the peak of his ability as a grime MC, his bars from that time can be heard on Rinse Sessions.
