Ewan Hennelly aka Herv is an electronic musician based in Dublin, Ireland. He has been releasing music since 2002 on labels such as Risc, Go Away Recordings, The Richter Collective, Acroplane, Alphabet Set, and Net-lab. Since 2006 he has released all his music for free on various net-labels and October 2009 saw him make the jump to the Berlin based Cock Rock Disco label with his most recent album "Not figuratively, but literally in love with music..." Galaxie 500

There are two bands with the name Galaxie 500:
1) an American alternative rock band that formed in 1987 and split in 1991
2) a francophone indie garage rock formed in 2002 in Montreal, Canada, and now known as Galaxie 1) Galaxie 500 formed in Boston, MA in 1986 and comprised vocalist/guitarist Dean Wareham (a transplanted New Zealand native), bassist Naomi Yang and drummer Damon Krukowski, longtime friends who first met in high school in New York City before all three attended Harvard University.

Chevron

There is more than one artist known by the name "Chevron". 1) Chevron is the electronic alter ego of Jonathan Valentine. Hailing from Blackpool in the UK, he began making rave and techno from an early age, at school and college. There he fell in love with the sounds of Mike Paradinas' well-regarded label, Planet Mu. In 2003 Planet Mu released his first 7" "Swimmin' Lessons". Further short releases on Planet Mu followed in 2004 as well as a European tour with Ceephax Acid Crew. He played many shows, including the legendary Kraked Squat Party, with artists such as Venetian Snares and Shitmat.

Pickle is the production and dj/performance name used by antipodean Brett Murdoch. Orignially from the icey southern tip of New Zealand and for the last five years splitting his time between the tropical far north of Australia and the Mediterranean city of Barcelona. The Pickle sound is a unique blend of quirky and found sounds spanning the electronic music genres of Techno, I.D.M, Ambient and many more.

LFO

There are 2 bands under the name LFO. 1) English band LFO were one of the pioneers of the harsh techno of the early 1990s. Originally comprising Gez Varley (also known as Jez Varley) and Mark Bell, they met while studying at Leeds and gave their first track, the eponymous “LFO”, to Nightmares On Wax. The demo’s popularity in clubs lead to the track being released by Warp in 1990, where it made it into the Top Twenty. The name “LFO” comes from the term low frequency oscillator, a component used to alter sounds in synthesizers, samplers etc.

Four Tet

Four Tet is the name used by Kieran Hebden (born 1977 in Putney, London, UK) for his experimental electronic music-oriented solo efforts, to differentiate from his work with post-rock band Fridge. Hebden's solo work typically utilises samples lifted from various sources including hip-hop, electronica, techno, jazz, and folk mixed with his own guitar playing. Four Tet shares some stylistic similarities with other musicians, such as Prefuse 73, who use computer editing techniques that give the music a staccato, cut-up feel.

Eat More Cake are a DJ/Production/Songwriting collective from Harrow in North-west London, whose sound incorporates elements of Dance, Chill-out and Hip-hop. Having received worldwide radio support and critical acclaim for their remix of Stardust’s “Music Sounds Better With You” and their genre-mashing debut EP “Climb The Ladder, Live The Dream”, the group have been hard at work in the studio cooking up a feast of new ideas and plotting their gradual, but inevitable, rise to world domination.
