Big Black Delta

Big Black Delta is Jonathan Bates' (Mellowdrone) "new musical endeavor" which aims to release new free music every few weeks. The bands first release "BBDEP1" was released for free download on August 16, 2010. The followup lp, "BBDLP1", was released on September 26th, 2011, available for free download for the first week and also offering a variety of special merch packages.

Industry

At least three bands share the name "Industry": 1)A New York-based synth/pop band most famous for the club hit "State of the Nation" and the Stranger To Stranger LP. 2) Bass-guitar player Babayev Fouad founded "Industry" band in April 1994 in Baku and it became the first band in Azerbaijan, promoting grunge-rock.. Founders of the band was formed in 1995 at the same time debut concert was done in "Bakport" club. In 1996 band gave one more concert on several festivals: ("Rock-Fiesta", "Tochka Opori") and got its fans, number of which was increasing from concert to concert.

Judie Tzuke

Judie Tzuke was born Judie Myers in London on 3 April 1956. After an education in the arts, music and drama, by the age of 15 Judie spent most of her time writing poems which she turned into songs and playing folk clubs, accompanying herself on acoustic guitar. She went to Island Records to try and get a record deal and after she'd played two songs was asked if she had any more. She replied that she had twenty, which she didn't, and they asked her to come back and record them the following week. She didn't return, but their interest made her realise that she could have a career in music.

Technotronic

Technotronic is a studio-based house music project from Belgium, formed by Jo Bogaert (a.k.a. Thomas De Quincey) in 1988. Together with Ya Kid K (born Manuela Kamosi, 1973, Zaire), he produced the hit single Pump Up The Jam which was originally intended as an instrumental. An image for the act was put together utilizing Zairian-born fashion model Felly (allegedly without her permission) as its album and single cover art and "singer" in the music video. Ya Kid K went on to provide vocals on several other Technotronic tracks.

Tesla

Tesla is an American hard rock band originating from Sacramento, California. The band formed in 1984 as City Kidd and was renamed to Tesla during the recording of their first album on the advice of their manager. The group includes Jeff Keith (vocals), Frank Hannon (Guitar), Tommy Skeoch (Guitar), Brian Wheat (Bass), Troy Luccketta (Drums). Tesla's music fit well with the blasting sound of the 80s glam bands, but was more bluesy and lyrics dealt with other themes than just the usual, girls, alcohol and violence.

Kid Creole & the Coconuts

Kid Creole and the Coconuts are an American band created and led by August Darnell. Their music incorporates styles like big band jazz, disco, and in particular Caribbean/Latin American salsa. The Coconuts are a glamorous trio of female backing vocalists whose lineup changes throughout the years. Thomas August Darnell Browder (aka August Darnell, aka Kid Creole) was born in Montreal, Canada, on 12 August 1950, the son of a French Canadian mother and a father from the Caribbean island of Dominica, but was raised in the New York City borough of the Bronx.

Naked Raygun

Naked Raygun was a very influential Chicago-based punk band of the 1980s and early 1990s. All incarnations featured Jeff Pezzati on vocals. Members over time include Jim Colao and Eric Spicer on drums, Pierre Kezdy and Camilio Gonzalez on bass, and Santiago Durango. John Haggerty, and Bill Stephans on guitar. Naked Raygun began as a noisy, free-form artist, often trading members with Big Black but later sharpened into a hard pop outfit in a league with the Buzzcocks, Stiff Little Fingers, and The Jam.
