"Daniel W J Mackenzie AKA Ekca Liena burst into our ears a few years back with his debut “Slow Music For Rapid Eye Movement”; an album of richly detailed ambience, electronica and post rock that contained the massive “Fire Emerging From Mist”. Since then a series of releases have been issued, explorations of far out celelstial tones, classically inspired instrumentation and hints of doom and decay.

Sylvia Hallett
Sylvia Hallett studied music at Dartington, and then spent two years studying composition with Max Deutsch in Paris. She now works both as a composer and as an improviser, and has had pieces performed in Britain and Europe. She has played in many international festivals since the late 1970s, working with several well-known and respected musicians, including Lol Coxhill, Maggie Nicols, Phil Minton, Evan Parker, and the groups Accordions Go Crazy, LaXula, British Summer Time Ends, The London Improvisers Orchestra, and the London Hardingfelelag.

Bear Bones, Lay Low is the power drone project of Brussels-based Venezuelan Ernesto Gonzalez. He builds an energetic wall of sound with guitar fuzz, vocals, tapes and a bunch of effects. There are 2 artists under the name Freyr: [1] Freyr is a project begun by T.E. Greenway in 2007 to syphon ideas not usable elsewhere. [2] Formed in mid-2012, Freyr began writing and recording with plans to gig in early 2013. Drawing influences from Jimmy Eat World, Mae, Paramore and other bands in the genre, Freyr are aiming to create catchy songs with a powerful live performance. Psychic Ills
Psychic Ills is a group that became active in NYC sometime during 2003. Their sound has included a combination of rock experimentation, drones, electronic textures, and various ethnic influences. Their live shows have varied widely and have been known to have an improvised performance art element as well. The current line up consists of Elizabeth Hart, Brian Tamborello, and Tres Warren. Their 2nd album "Mirror Eye", is set to be released on January 20th of 2009 on The Social Registry label.
