The Psychogeographical Commission

From http://www.psychetecture.com The Psychogeographical Commission was formed at the start of 2008 to explore the many interfaces between the built environment and the people who inhabit it through dérive, magick and sonic experimentation.
After a great deal of time wandering the back streets of London and other large cities looking for the spirits which now dwell within them, we came to the conclusion that the psychological make-up of cities is now at odds with the populations inherent rural based mythology.

Hot Snakes

Hot Snakes was an American post-hardcore band led by Rick Froberg and John Reis, formed in 1999. Reis and Froberg had previously performed together in Pitchfork and Drive Like Jehu while living in San Diego, CA during their youth. Although they share sonic similarities with bands its members had previously been involved with, Hot Snakes' sound was much more punk-influenced than Drive Like Jehu and Pitchfork.

Formed in January 2009 made up of former members of Irish/ N Irish bands including Steer Clear and The Upgrades(Kelan is still an existing member) The band focused on writing and recording their first EP, which they did with Neal Calderwood (General Fiasco/ The Answer) This was released for free via Music Glue which is available here (http://www.musicglue.com/jodyhasahitlist) Their first show was supporting Metro Station at the Dublin Olympia. From there they headlined Eamon Dorans in Dublin on 3 occasions, before embarking on an Irish tour with UK band Snakes Hate Fire (RIP).

Funkadelic

Funkadelic was originally the backing band for the doo wop group, The Parliaments. The band was added in 1964, primarily for tours, and consisted of Frankie Boyce, Richard Boyce and Langston Booth. They enlisted in the army in 1966, and George Clinton (the leader of Parliament) recruited Billy Bass Nelson and Eddie Hazel in 1967, then also adding Tawl Ross and Tiki Fulwood. Rick Springfield (born Richard Lewis Springthorpe; 23 August 1949) is an Australian , musician, and actor. He was a member of pop rock group Zoot from 1969 to 1971 and then started his solo career with his début single "Speak to the Sky" reaching the top 10 in Australia. In mid-1972, he relocated to the United States. He had a No. 1 hit with "Jessie's Girl" in 1981 in both Australia and the US.

1. Although The Third Man (Toby Leeming, 26) is a born and bred Londoner, his musical roots lie in Scotland where he lived for 4 years whilst studying at University. During this time he met dj’s, producers and promoters and not happy just watching others ply their trade he started to teach himself how to dj.
