Once upon a time, my roommates and myself spent a magical summer in Mississippi with these guys and we kept in touch for a short period of time and now I have no idea what happened to them... they were AWESOME though and anyone who has any info about what they're doing these days gets a cookie!

The Extinguishers

The Extinguishers are a bunch of fucking handsome pimps who'll crash yer town, neck yer pint and go home with your girlfriend, but they'll rock you so hard you won't have time to think, let alone care. What they lack in cleanliness and manner they more than make up for in talent, good looks and sheer charisma. Their unique Ska/Punk/Hardcore mix just has to be heard to be believed. They started in 2003, and spent 2 years in isolation perfecting their skills, finally unleashing the behemoth that is The Extinguishers on the 30th April 2005...

There is more than one artist with this name 1. an Australian, punk, ska punk band formed in 1994 2. A Peruvian all female Nu Metal band formed in 1999 1. Area-7 rose from the ashes of Madness cover band Mad Not Madness. In 1994 three members, Dugald McNaughtan (keyboards), Charles "Chucky T" Thompson (guitar) and Dan Morrison (drums) left the group and began to write their own songs. They formed a band and named it after a lyric from The Specials' Dawning of a New Era.

Voodoo Glow Skulls

Voodoo Glow Skulls are an underground third-wave ska band. Their music is a mixture of old-style ska, punk, rockabilly/psychobilly/horror punk and metal. The band formed in 1988 in Riverside, California by brothers Frank, Eddie and Jorge Casillas and their longtime friend Jerry O'Neill. The Voodoo Glow Skulls practiced for two years in a sweaty back bedroom/practice space until they forged a taut unit that performed with demonic intensity and a demented sense of humor.

Rancid

Rancid is punk rock band which formed in Berkeley, California, United States in 1991. The band consists of Tim "Lint" Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Lars Frederiksen (guitar), Matt Freeman (bass) and Brendan Stieneckert (drums). The band has released seven albums: "Rancid" (1993), "Let's Go" (1994), "...And Out Come the Wolves" (1995), "Life Won't Wait" (1998), "Rancid" (2000), "Indestructible" (2003) and "Let the Dominoes Fall" (2009). The band originally consisted of Armstrong, Freeman (both former members of Operation Ivy) and drummer Brett Reed, with Frederiksen joining in 1993.

Culture Shock

There are at least four bands named Culture Shock: 1- Culture Shock: punk dub / anarcho punk (UK) Culture Shock were an anarcho-punk / punk-dub-ska band formed in Warminster, Wiltshire, UK, in 1986 by Dick Lucas, previously of the Subhumans. Their three LPs, "Go Wild", "Onwards and Upwards" and "All The Time!", were released on Bluurg Records. They also did 205 gigs between 86-89. Culture Shock mixed their punk roots with ska and reggae music to a previously unheard extent and influenced the styles of bands like AOS3...

Pocket Billiards

Pocket Billiards are a 9-piece ska-punk band from Belfast, we've been about since 2000/2001. Our music is a mixture of melodic ska, reggae and dub with fast punky riffs and screamy bits and we're all about having fun and making sure the crowd have even more. We have played many gigs in the past and supported bands such as: Neville Staples (The Specials), The Mad Caddies, The Selecter, Bad Manners, The Slackers, Agnostic Front, Runnin Riot, Fleas and Lice, Lightyear, Total Chaos and Leftover Crack.

Catch 22

There are several bands called Catch 22, including ones in the ska (1), metal (2), jazz, American alternative, and 1980s UK punk genres. German tech-house producers Daniel Girresser & Michael Erb also use the name.
1) Catch 22 (ska): Catch 22 is a third-wave ska band based in New Jersey. The band was formed in 1995 by drummer Chris Greer and vocalist Tomas Kalnoky. They released a self-produced demo tape, Rules of the Game, in 1996. All 2000 copies of the tape quickly sold out.
