Anthem

Anthem is a legendary Japanese heavy metal band founded in Tokyo during 1981 as a quartet of singer Toshihito Maeda, guitarist Akifumi Koyanagi, bass player 柴田直人 (Naoto Shibata) ("Ski") and drummer Takamasa Ohuchi. Koyanagi left in late 1983 to be replaced by Hiroya Fukada. In December 1984 vocalist Toshihito Maeda also left and Anthem drafted 坂本英三 (Eizo Sakamoto) for their debut eponymous album issued in July 1985 by Nexus and licensed to Europe via Roadrunner Records.

ex-guitarist: Hotaru (left 2004) girugamesh (ギルガメッシュ, girugamesshu) is a Japanese rock band, formed in 2003. The name is derived from the epic poem Gilgamesh. The music of girugamesh is heavy rock with gloomy undertones, but recently the band has been experimenting with electronic sounds. Formed in 2003 in Chiba, Shuu and Nii had been friends since elementary school, the earliest incarnation of the band made its first performance while the members were still in high school.

Fiction
There are multiple artists/bands under the name of Fiction. 1) Fiction (Japanese): Originally formed in Nagoya, they were called Gille' Loves. After struggling almost for a decade to gain recognition, they moved to Tokyo and changed their name to Fiction. The reason for the name change is said to be because many fans took the dark gothic but sensual world created through their music too seriously. In response, the band claimed that everything is just 'fiction'. Fiction was largely influenced by numerous 80s new wave British bands such as Bauhaus and Joy Division.

Phyrexia
Phyrexia is a Heavy Metal project that has been reborn from its dying ashes. Songs have been removed and replaced with songs that suit what we want out of the music. Having said that, there is scope for creativity within Phyrexia, it just has a "general" direction in which it goes in.
