There are at least 2 groups by the name Swing City. 1) After 20 years of working bands with his brother James, drummer John Morrison branched off in 1999 in an attempt to create "Australia's best swing big band"; Swing City. The katz:

Leon Thomas

Amos Leon Thomas Jr (born 1937, died May 8, 1999) was an American avant garde jazz singer from East St. Louis, Illinois. He changed his name to Leone in 1974. Thomas is best known for his work with Pharoah Sanders, particularly the 1969 song "The Creator Has a Master Plan" from Sanders' Karma album. Thomas's most distinctive device was that he often broke out into yodeling in the middle of a vocal. This style has influenced singers James Moody and Tim Buckley,among others.

Bob Mintzer (born January 27, 1953), originally from New Rochelle, New York, is a jazz saxophonist, composer, arranger and big band leader based in Los Angeles. After graduating from the Interlochen Arts Academy in 1970, Mintzer made his mark as a soloist, mainly on the tenor saxophone and the bass clarinet. Blue devils

The Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps is a Division I drum and bugle corps based in Concord, California and founded in 1970, and is a member corps of Drum Corps International. The Blue Devils (sometimes just "the Devils", "Devs" or "BD") are the most successful corps of the DCI era, with a total of thirteen world champion titles to their name over the four decades of DCI's existence. At their first DCI finals appearance in 1973, the Blue Devils placed twenty fourth, advancing the next year to ninth and then to third in 1975.

Lund Quartet

Lund Quartet are an instrumental band from Bristol. They are heavily influenced by the Scandinavian jazz scene and turntablism, using samples of Bristol's finest musicians recorded especially for the band and creatively played back through turntables along side a more traditional jazz line up of piano, drums and double bass. Their sound morphs effortlessly from gentle and reflective, to heavy grooves.
