There is more than one artist named The Machine.

4. A Lithuanian electronic musician 1.The Machine is a traditional heavy rock powertrio. With two releases available, Shadow of the Machine (CD, 2007) and Solar Corona (CD+2LP, 2009), the band is gaining (inter)national attention with their mixture of stoner rock riffing, retro psych and some occasional acid blues jams. The subsequent effort entitled "Drie" was released in December 2010.

De Staat

“it sounds old and new, weird and familiar, ugly and sexy, dead and
alive at the same time.” Wait For Evolution first came into being as a solo project by singer/guitarist/producer Torre Florim. The album was recorded with help from musicians and friends. After some minor crew changes De Staat arrived at its current setting: razor sharp Jop van Summeren (bass, vocals); ever controlled Vedran ‘The Wizard’ Mircetic (guitar, effects); stage animal Rocco Hueting (cow bells (!), tambourine, vocals); rock hard drummer Tim ‘The Executioner’ van Delft and charismatic front man Torre Florim.

Conforce

Conforce is the moniker of Boris Bunnik from the Island of Terschelling (the Netherlands). Nowadays he lives in the city of Leeuwarden and finished several media studies in The Netherlands. After two debut EPs on Rush Hour and releases on Curle and Modelism, he just released his well received first album on UK's Meanwhile label. His Grace EP was released on Delsin Records, featuring some slick produced atmospheric tunes, in style of label mates like Delta Funktionen, Quince and D5. http://www.myspace.com/conforce

Quadrophonia

Quadrophonia were a Dutch dance act formed by Olivier Abbeloos (also known as part of T99) and Lucien Foort in the late 1980s, with rap vocals on several of their tracks performed by Marvin D (A.K.A. Ripmaster). They had two top-40 hits in the United Kingdom. "Quadrophonia", which reached #14 in April 1991, followed by "The Wave Of The Future", which charted at #40 in July of the same year, as well as 3 other singles from around this time, "Find the Time (Part 1)", "Schizofrenia - The Worst Day Of My Life" and "The Man With the Masterplan", all three of which weren't particularly successful.

The Brownies

There are two bands called The Brownes: 1) A five-piece band from Norwich, England. Myspace "The tag 'pop punk' for one generation at least will always conjure up images of Blink 182 and Sum 41, yet the type of Pop Punk that The Brownies juggle up is far removed from this. It's shouty-faced pop punk that's pocketed Riot Grrrl's bite, and been trapped under an avalanche of glowing pop hooks on the escape.

Destine

Tilburg, The Netherlands
2006 - present Destine is Holland’s response to punkpop bands such as Fall Out Boy, Simple Plan and Paramore. With its distinctive American sound and appearance, it seems like only a matter of time before Destine becomes an established name in Europe. The five youngsters joined forces in 2006 and released the A Dozen Dreams EP. After this, a time of intensive touring followed: in the first year 70 shows were played in the Netherlands, England, Wales, Germany, France and Belgium.
