Kate Havnevik

Kate Havnevik is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Oslo. Her debut album, the electronica-infused "Melankton," was released in March 2006 on iTunes and April 2006 (on physical CD) in Norway, before being licensed internationally later in the year. Havnevik has been working on three albums simultaneously - "Melankton," "You" and an acoustic album entitled "Embla." In a move similar to that of British singer and friend of Havnevik, Imogen Heap, Kate is releasing her albums through her own record label, Continentica Records.

Heidi Elva

Heidi Elva grew up in a small town in New Zealand. Next to a lake, under mountains and not too far from the sea. Her Father was a postman and a preacher, her Mother a housewife. Growing up there, Heidi felt a deep sense of isolation. New Zealand is a long way from anywhere. Later, Heidi moved to Australia and has lived there for a while now. Heidi plays the harp. Not in a conventional way. She layers loops and using the harp as her drum, she creates beats.

Perfume

Perfume is the name of at least two bands. Perfume is a three person / group from Hiroshima who debuted locally in 2001 and nationally in 2005. In 2001, three 11-12 year old girls from an Artist School formed a group together in their hometown of Hiroshima. Consisting of Ayano Ōmoto (Nocchi), Yuka Kashino (Kashiyuka), and Ayaka Nishiwaki (A-Chan). Because all three members had the Japanese character (香) for fragrance in their names, they named the group Perfume. In 2002, they released two limited edition singles only in Hiroshima, called “OMAJINAI★ペロリ” and “彼氏募集中”.

Sunday Girl

Jade Williams Broxbourne, 1988 (22 years).
Sunday Girl is the solo project of Jade Williams who after some smothering signed to Geffen Records (Universal). The name comes from an old job she had in a Pet Shop where she worked every Sunday and was known simply as Sunday Girl. Her first single intuited as Four Floors brings arrangements Sinthy-pop merged for classical instruments, the music was co-written by the young and produced by Diplo.

Ellie Williams is an acoustic singer-songwriter and was born in 1980 in Exeter, England. Music has been part of Ellie's life since she was a child. She played the cheap organ at home, went to church and joined the choir. She now plays the piano and lives in Exwick, a suburb in Exeter, Devon.
She describes her music as a mix between acoustic, folk, pop and gospel. In December 2006 she almost signed a deal with Mike Batt, Katie Melua's manager. But the deal fell off once Mike moved his business to New York.

Marva Whitney

Marva Whitney (born Marva Ann Manning on May 1, 1944 in Kansas City, Kansas) is an American soul/funk singer. She is considered by many funk enthusiasts to be one of the "rawest" and "brassiest" music divas. Whitney's performing career started as early as three years old while touring with her family's gospel group, the Manning Gospel Singers. Singing with James Brown in the late 1960s, she was able to make a name for herself with powerful songs like "I'm Tired, I'm Tired, I'm Tired (Things Better Change Before It's Too Late)" and "If You Don't Work (You Can't Eat).

Monika (b. Λεμονιά Χριστοδούλου, 26 May 1986 & raised in Karpenisi, Greece), is an Athens, Greece artist. At five, she started playing the piano & at ten bought her first guitar. Then later, she joined an orchestra in order to take saxophone lessons that lasted 5 years. She can also play some accordion and drums. She used to be a member of her brother's band Serpentine where she did some vocals and played the electric guitar.

Jenny O. is a musician based in Los Angeles, CA. She is currently touring and in production of her second full-length album with producer Jonathan Wilson. In 2011, Jenny self-produced the Home EP and released it on Manimal Vinyl Records.
