Diane Cluck

Diane Cluck is a New York-based singer-songwriter loosely affiliated with the Antifolk scene centered around the open mic nights at the Sidewalk Cafe. She has recorded six albums since 2000. Performing primarily with her voice and an acoustic guitar, Cluck has also been known to make sounds with piano, organ, harmonium, handmade-xylophone, and zither. She has been influenced by dogs and her home state of Pennsylvania[2]. "Dogs inspire me and break my heart.

Cat Power

Charlyn Marie Marshall, also known as Chan (pronounced "Shawn") Marshall, was born in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S. on 21 January 1972. After dropping out of high school, she started performing under the name Cat Power, while in Atlanta, backed by musicians Glen Thrasher, Mark Moore, and others. She soon moved to New York City, United States in 1992, then later opening for Liz Phair in 1994, she met Steve Shelley of Sonic Youth and Tim Foljahn of Two Dollar Guitar, who encouraged her to record, and played on her first two albums, 1995's Dear Sir and 1996's Myra Lee.

Wooden Wand

Wooden Wand is one moniker of singer-songwriter James Jackson Toth, who has also recorded under his given name as well as the name WAND. One-time backing band The Vanishing Voice is a Brooklyn band composed of Jessica Bowen (formerly Jessica Toth, now of Jex Thoth), G. Lucas Crane, Heidi Diehl, and Steven Jarvis Tavaniere. The band members met at Purchase College. The style of music recorded by Toth and his many incarnations has drawn on a variety of both conventional and experimental folk and rock influences, including psych folk, acid folk, freak-folk, free folk, and indie.

Jack Rose

Jack Rose is a guitarist, originally from Virginia, USA. In the mid '90s he joined the noise/drone group Pelt with Patrick Best and Mike Gangloff. Over the course of ten years and a dozen records, Pelt transformed slowly from an electric group, heavily influenced by Sonic Youth, the Dead C and Theater of Eternal Music-style minimalism to an acoustic group showing the strong influence of John Fahey. Rose, meanwhile, relocated to Philadelphia and began to take fingerpicking seriously.

Celebration

1) Celebration is a psychedelic soul band based out of Baltimore Md. Celebration is comprised of singer Katrina Ford, multi-instrumentalist Sean Antanaitis and drummer David Bergander... and additional rotating memebers: Walker Teret plays bass, sometimes guitar, percussion and backing vocals, Tony Drummond, plays keys, percussion and backing vocals, Tommy Rouse plays guitar and percussion.
In the beginning the band as a three piece's sound was centered around the unique output provided by all the instruments played by Antanaitis in the studio as well as live.

Sarabeth Tucek

Singer/Songwriter Sarabeth Tucek is from New York. She can be heard duetting with Bill Callahan on Smog's "Supper", providing background vocals on EZT's "Goodbye Little Doll" and on Brian Jonestown Massacre's "We Are The Radio" for which she cowrote one song with Anton Newcombe. Her song, Something For You (a.k.a. Seer) is also covered by BJM on "We Are the Radio". Recently, Sarabeth was guest vocalist on the debut album of The Relationship, fronted by Brian Bell from Weezer.

Joshua Burkett

Burkett has released 4 solo albums of 'internal psychedelic meanderings'-on his own label, 'Feather One's Nest'. His "Gold Cosmos' album getting the most attention as pre-dating(and some saying giving birth to) the "Free-Folk" movement with guests like Chris Corsano, Dredd Foole. MV, Six Organs of Admittance & others. He has a electronic-based live project (with Conrad Capistran from Sun-burned Hand) called 'Tarp'& is also a visual artist.
