In 2005 Glasgow became highlighted on the global musical map. Franz Ferdinand and Sons and Daughters were staples of all the "important" music magazines, and previously established acts such as Travis and even Hue and Cry were dusting themselves down for the ensuing media frenzy. The city became a hotbed for the new art rock movement, where fashion, imagery and music meet to produce the new musical vision, albeit via some well worn Gang of Four and Roxy Music records.

End of Level Boss return to the fray with their 3rd album “Eklectric”, released via Exile On Mainstream Records. Blood Duster are a five piece grind/death/stoner rock band from Melbourne, Australia, known for their fast and heavy musical style. The band are currently enjoying some semi-mainstream success after their self-titled Blood Duster album and an appearance at the annual Big Day Out festival. The band's first offering, Yeest, was a straightforward grindcore album. The follow up album, Str8 Outta Northcote was a southern-flavored stoner rock album. The band's third album, Cunt was a more intense and true-to-its-roots offering, with rhythmic bluesy metal guitars and heavy drumwork.

In mid 1998 the live music scene in Sydney, Australia sucked!!
