Beach House

Beach House is an indie rock/dream pop group which formed in 2005 in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. The group consists of Victoria Legrand (vocals, organ) and Alex Scally (guitar, keyboards). Legrand is the niece of french composer Michel Legrand. The group have released two albums: 2006's "Beach House" and 2008's "Devotion". Within a year of formation, the group charmed indie music enthusiasts across the blogosphere with their languid songcraft, while the eerie warmth of "Apple Orchard" landed on Pitchfork's Infinite Mixtape MP3 series in August 2006.

School of Seven Bells

School of Seven Bells (often just SVIIB) is a three-piece dream pop/shoegazing band formed by Benjamin Curtis of Secret Machines, together with identical twins Alejandra and Claudia Deheza, formerly of On!Air!Library!. The band is named after the School of the Seven Bells, a mythical South American pickpocket training academy. The group formed in 2007 in Brooklyn, New York, United States Curtis and the Deheza sisters met when both were opening on an Interpol tour.

Craft Spells

Californian local Justin Vallesteros, better known as indie-pop band Craft Spells, convey a special something in their forthcoming album “Idle Labor”. Originating in a private space at home, Justin’s melodies are infectious, sometimes even haunting. The Sun Blindness

The Sun Blindness are a psychedelic band - based in Melbourne, Australia. Formed in 2004, they play druggy, dreamy, harmony-driven psychedelia. Indebted in spirit to bands such as the 13th Floor Elevators and The Doors, their sound channels & celebrates 45 years of psychedelic music history. 2008 saw the release of their debut album 'Like Pearly Clouds' in Australia by indie label Sensory Projects.

Mark Northfield was born in Cambridge, England. He is an indie-pop/classical singer, songwriter, arranger and frequent collaborator, and also the head ballet pianist for the MT degree course at Arts Ed in West London. Maps

Three bands go by the name Maps: 1. One is from Northampton, UK. The music is made by James in his bedroom with Ben, Phil, Matt and Andy completing the line-up. Their debut album 'We Can Create' was released in April on Mute Records and their growing fanbase includes the likes of the Chemical Brothers. They were nominated for the well respected 2007 Mercury Music Prize album of the year, which with no doubt saw their profile rise dramatically.
